Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Earbuds Details
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 has a sleek and stylish look. It has a closed back and an in-ear canal phone design that fits in the ear. The earbuds offer an active noise-cancellation feature with deep bass. Their frequency range is 20 Hz—20 KHz, and they come with a Bluetooth 5.4 version connection with 10 meters of range.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 offers 30 hours (ANC off) and 24 hours (ANC on) of playback time with 48 mAh batteries in each bud and 515 mAh batteries in the case. It also comes with USB Type-C charging support. On the other hand, Samsung has not compromised on the quality side with Qi wireless charging. So, this is a static factor even in the fresh earbuds.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are lightweight, with each bud weighing just 4.7 grams and the case weighing 46.5 grams. Moreover, the buds have better audio quality, but Samsung somehow missed this point in previous launches. So, in the new pair of buds, you can experience 360-degree spatial sound and are provided with an IP57 rating for resistance against dust and splashes. These earbuds also feature customisable ANC, which means you can choose between active noise cancellation and transparent mode.
Design and Audio
Samsung has deviated from its regular stemless design and given the Galaxy Buds 3 a stem. But they made sure to add a bit of flair, made a bit edgy instead of plain cylindrical shape. Moreover, the lid of the charging case is transparent adding to the overall aesthetic of the buds. Likewise, these buds are IP57 dust and water-resistant and come in a semi in-ear fitting. The whole thing is available in Silver and White colour options.
For audio, Samsung has packed the Galaxy Buds 3 with an 11mm dynamic driver. These earbuds come with Samsung Seamless Codec capable of 24bit / 96kHz processing on top of the regular SBC and AAC codecs. They are also capable of noise cancellation, though they do not possess an ambient mode. So, it’s either all the noise or no noise at all. Other than that, you can also enjoy 360 Audio on these buds, but only with selective Samsung devices.
Features and the Rest
The latest Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 comes with Galaxy AI baked into them. Coupled with three mics on each bud, they auto-adjust audio output to provide the best listening experience to the user. Likewise, these buds support Interpreter mode when used with the latest high-end Galaxy devices. You also get ecosystem features like Auto Switch and Auracast on these buds.
Additionally, one can control them through touch as well as voice commands. These buds rely on Bluetooth v5.4 for wireless connectivity with your smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 packs a 48 mAh battery on either side and a 515 mAh cell in the charging case. With this, you get up to six and 30 hours of independent and combined playback with ANC turned off. For charging, you go wired with USB Type-C as well as wireless.
